Privacy and your drawings
Short version: we read what you send, we quote it, we do not sell it and we do not show it to anyone who is not working on your part.
What we collect
Only what you type into a form or write in an email: your name, work email, company, country, the part description, the files you attach and the end use you tell us about. There is no account, no login and no newsletter.
How forms are delivered
Both forms on this site post to FormSubmit, which forwards the submission to our own inbox by email. FormSubmit sees the contents in transit, as any mail relay does. Nothing is stored in a database on this site, because this site has no database.
Who sees your drawing
The people quoting, programming and machining the part. If the job needs a process we do not run here, such as anodising, heat treatment or a composite part, the relevant drawing goes to that processor or partner shop and nothing else does. Ask for an NDA before you send files and we will sign one first, either ours or yours.
We do not publish customer names, drawings or photographs of customer parts, and we do not use your part as a portfolio piece. That is why this site shows no case studies with names on them.
How long we keep files
Quotes and their attachments are kept for 24 months so a repeat order can be priced against the same revision. Ask us to delete them earlier and we will, except where an order was placed and accounting records have to be kept.
Analytics
This site loads Google Tag Manager, which loads Google Analytics. That records pages viewed, roughly where in the world a visit came from and which link brought you here. It does not know who you are unless you send a form. Block it with any content blocker and the site works exactly the same.
Export control screening
We ask what the aircraft is for because we only take civilian and commercial work. That answer is used to decide whether to quote, and it stays in the same inbox as the rest of your enquiry.
Your requests
Write to sales at uavmfg.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it or to have it deleted. We answer within 24 business hours.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version replaces this page.
