Measured parts and the paper that proves it

A fleet operator cannot tell two arm clamps apart by eye. The report is the only thing that says the second one is the same as the first.

What travels with a lot

Standard on every order unless you tell us to strip it out. Ask for anything extra at RFQ so it sits in the price rather than in a change order later.

DocumentWhat it is
First article inspection reportEvery dimension on your drawing numbered and measured, with the actual reading, before the lot runs. Standard on the first order and after any drawing revision.
CMM and optical comparator reportsMeasured in house. Bore positions, true position and profile come from the CMM, profiles and small features from the comparator.
Material certificateMill certificate per heat or lot, traced to the parts by our lot number. Sent with the shipping documents.
PPAP level 3Available when your programme runs a PPAP. Ask for it at RFQ so the cost sits in the quote and not in a change order.
Process certificateAnodising, passivation, heat treatment and coating come back with the processor certificate, which we forward unopened.
RoHS declarationOn request for the materials and finishes we supply.

What we do not claim

We are not ISO 9001, AS9100, ITAR or FAA registered, and no page on this site says we are. A shop that claims a certificate it cannot show you will also tell you a lot passed when it did not.

If your programme needs a certified supplier for a flight critical part, tell us at the RFQ. We will say plainly whether we belong on that part, and for the rest of the bill of materials we are usually still the cheaper answer.

What we do hold

  • RoHS declaration for the materials and finishes we supply
  • First article inspection reports against your drawing revision
  • CMM and optical comparator equipment, operated in house
  • Mill certificates traced to our lot numbers
  • PPAP level 3 on request

Where inspection sits in the job

Nothing here is a special service. It is the order in which a part moves through the shop.

01

Send the drawing

STEP or a PDF with tolerances, plus quantity and the intended use of the aircraft. A 3D model alone is enough to start.

02

We reply within 24 business hours

Price, lead time and any question on the drawing that would cost you money if we guessed. Quote in USD, EXW.

03

First article

We cut one, measure every dimension on the drawing and send the report before the lot runs.

04

Lot and inspection

The lot runs against the approved article. Dimensional report, material certificate and process certificates travel with it.

05

Ship

EXW Binh Duong by default. We pack, label and hand over to your forwarder, or use ours if you prefer.

Questions buyers ask about quality

Are you ISO 9001 or AS9100 certified?

No, and we will not imply otherwise. We hold a RoHS declaration for the materials and finishes we supply. What travels with your parts is measured evidence: a first article report against your drawing, CMM data, mill certificates and processor certificates.

Who measures the parts?

We do, in house, on a CMM and an optical comparator. Operators check in process against the work instruction, and the final report is produced by someone who did not run the machine.

What happens if a lot is out of tolerance?

We hold it. You get the measurement and a plan, either a rework route or a replacement lot with a date, before anything ships. Sorting a problem at our dock is cheaper for both of us than finding it at yours.

Can you work to our quality documents?

Yes. Send your inspection plan, drawing notes, packaging standard or PPAP requirement with the RFQ. If something in it is outside what this shop can honestly sign, we say which line and why before we quote.

Send the drawing and the inspection plan together

We read both before we price. Reply within 24 business hours.
